Who Would've Known...? (Updated)

The lairds groundskeeper Butch Diavolo recently set up home at Southern Charm. He has built himself a suitably humble cottage there, exquisitely (of course) furnished with the best of Van Auster's work from Post.

The evening before last the laird, his spouse and the little prince visited with Butch to talk and relax in the company of friends and family. We all admired the work that Butch had done with decorating the cottage and complimented him for it.
I recognized a fun and beautiful work of art on the wall that has been made by the extremely talented SecondLife photographer Spanki Moulliez. Butch is supposedly one of the avatars in the picture, but it is hard to tell as the three avatars in it all have cardboard boxes pulled over their heads.

We all had a very pleasant evening chatting about everything and nothing. Tomais - who has a reputation of being an expert on male appendages - helped one of us with resizing a dick to more pleasing proportions. All-in-all we had a wonderful evening together.

Who would've known that it was an end of a seven year era?

Update: I have corrected an embarrassing mistake where I named the photographer incorrectly. My apologies to both Spanki and the person I mistakenly named.

Thank you Butch for pointing out my mistake!

I Sensed It

Although I am famous for my lack of observation skills I had sensed that something was going on with Butch and that it could have something to do with the friendly and delicious Spanki Moulliez.

The curmudgeon Butch had suddenly started wearing shoes - without me ordering him to - so something was definitely shifting. Through the gay grapevine in SecondLife (Guyke) I also learned that Butch had been at Aeros to purchase a "Magnus", the pleasant to look at male appendage on sale in that store. This accumulated knowledge combined with my observation that Butch was always a bit extra elated whenever Spanki was around during his or anyone else's sets spoke volumes to me, but I did not dare trust my senses or speak of it for fear of jinxing it.

Then I heard through the grapevine (same source as above) that Butch had spilled the beans, but I wanted to hear it from the man himself to really believe it. So when I met Butch on Christmas Day I asked outright him if he had anything to tell me, after playing coy and unknowing for awhile he finally admitted to the truth. I was overjoyed and congratulated him profusely as Spanki is one of the most wonderful, kindhearted and talented men I know.

Yesterday the two finally saw fit to go public and, as we all know, in this day and age there is no better way to do that than to announce it on Facebook.
Announcement on Facebook - December 26, 2013
I am so thrilled and happy for the two wonderful men, but I can also see that Spanki has his work cut out for him.

It will be no easy task, dearest Spanki, but remember that you can always come to me and Guyke for support, like you we wish the best for the amazing Butch and, just like you, we see the minute flaws he has that need to be remedied. Let my however in closing pass on some hopeful news to you, my personal shopper told me yesterday that Butch had contacted him to get advice on where to shop for shoes...

Celebrating 4 Years Together

Amanda Allen and Mikel Glendale celebrated their fourth year of being together yesterday with a big anniversary bash.

DJ's Butch Diavolo and Arcangelo Hellman supplied the background music for all the hot women and men who had assembled to congratulate the couple. Four years together as a couple in SecondLife is probably equivalent to twentyfive in first life, if not more.

Returning to Life

Since I stopped taking the Champix cold turkey last Sunday, I feel myself getting better each day. It's a relief to feel that I can focus again, get things done and that my general mood is improving. I am even starting to like people again.

Yesterday I returned to SecondLife and dropped in at DJ Arcy's set at Butch's Whim - Part Deux. I had a wonderful time with great music and sexy company. This evening everyone there was bouncing around on pumpkins, so I chose a pumpkin and joined in.

I even succeeded in forcing Butch to give me a good night hug before he went to sleep. He is a bit wary of my "homosocial" habits. This time he only complained that my antlers were sticking through his head.

"And the Oscar Goes To..."

Yesterday there was a "Celebrity Look-A-Like" party at "Q" Lounge, but I didn't know that because Butch just told me to dress up as someone famous. The first thing on my mind was "autumn" and that made me remember my falling leaves outfit. So I said to myself, "I'll go as Adam".

When I arrived to the venue it turned out that it was a Hollywood style red carpet affair, so I was completely out of place. Well, as usual I soon forgot my temporary discomfort and started enjoying Arcangelo "Dj Arcy" Hellman's music instead.

The 80's@"Q"-Lounge

I crashed in at my buddy Butch Diavolo's place yesterday and found that my late husbands son Guyke Lundquist was already there.

They were dressed weirdly and were both fiddling around frantically in their Inventories and with their outfits. When I asked them what their plans for the evening were the two told me that "We're going to a 80's party at "Q" Lounge with DJ Arcy."

"Ah I hope you both have a delightful evening!", I said in my usual charming manner, trying desperately to cover up my hurt feelings for not having been invited to join. "What?", they said, "Why aren't you coming?" at which point I was forced to inform them both that it was simply out of the question for SecondLife royalty, like myself, to intrude on a party of the common residents without a formal invitation of some kind.

Totally out of the blue and completely unexpected I got the most charming invitation in Instant Message (IM) from Amanda Allen, proprietor of The "Q" Lounge: "We are very pleased to send Bock McMillan, Laird of Southern Charm etc., etc., the exclusive invitation for the 80's party here @ 'Q' Lounge. We're looking forward to your company."

To which I promptly responded: "Oh thank you so much, what a delightful surprise! I am extremely honored and will do my best to be there in appropriate attire - if I can find something suitable..."

I had less than 90 minutes to prepare for this occasion, so I immediately threw myself into my Inventory in search of a suitable outfit. "Black", they told me, "get something black! Black was the color of the 80's!".

After rummaging about for a while, I found some stuff that was halfway decent and my beautiful black pashmina shawl from Zaara's. I also found a slouchy Fedora that the two said reminded them of Boy George, which was astonishing news to me, because in my faint recollection of him he always wore a scarf around his filthy dreadlocks. I adamantly refused to put on makeup!

Well, just about 11 minutes before the party I was in an outfit that I could accept and the other two could live with, even if there was still some disagreement between them when it came to my boots. I settled the dispute between them by telling them that, "With a face and body like mine no one ever looks at my footwear."

With that settled, we rested a little to refresh ourselves before going to the party.
Now its time for less talk and more pictures, so here we go!

So to sum up, I had a great time at the party although much of the music sounded very weird to me accept a detestable ABBA song and dear old Madge singing "Like A Virgin". When I told Butch this he went into a rant about how amazing an artist I had never ever heard before really was and how she had influenced the music of all the coming millennia with her "storytelling" songs. So sorry...
